Tammy Mazzocco Makes Real Estate a Reality

Tammy Mazzocco began her real estate career as a secretary to various Central Ohio real estate agencies where she learned a lot about the business and supportive aspects of the real estate business. In 1999 she made the decision to venture into the sales end of the business and joined the Judy Gang Team with RE/MAX in Pickerington, Ohio.

Today, Tammy’s real estate practice covers Pickerington and the four surrounding counties. She is passionate about the opportunity that she has to serve people and their dreams of owning their dream homes and proud that she has been helpful to many in that regard over the years, for more details visit her about.me page.

Tammy says that many of her co-workers have been very helpful to her, as she recounts that early in her career she was a bit shy when it came to talking with prospective clients, which is unusual for a salesperson, especially in real estate. A co-worker encouraged Tammy to start the conversation with a question, and then the potential buyer would have to respond. So, Tammy tried it, and it worked, and she has never had that problem again.

When asked what keeps her going she readily points out that she loves to set goals and then break them down into more manageable action steps. It is easier to accomplish them if the little steps are completed. People tend to quit when the goal looks too big, but when there is a little goal, it can get done.

Tammy begins her workdays early, and she likes to get the paperwork, emails, and other mundane duties out of the way. Then she can get on the phone about mid-morning and schedule her time for showing homes to prospective buyers. She states that a real estate sale does not happen unless you are showing a home to a client. She tries to spend the bulk of her time doing that, and it works.

Tammy is very focused on putting the clients’ needs ahead of her own, especially when it comes to their time and investment. She tries to treat the client just as she would want to be treated herself. People like to be pampered just a little and treated well. They know when you are considerate of them and that is why they like to do business with you.

Tammy says that she has seen lots of real estate agents get lazy when they get a big sale, for example, and they take it easy for awhile, and then it becomes a bad habit. Her momentum increases after a good run of sales, and she says that it inspires her to keep busy.
